Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the permitted and prohibited uses of Maltibase. You agree to use Maltibase only for lawful, legitimate, and authorized purposes in compliance with this Policy and all applicable laws and regulations.
1. General Use
You must use Maltibase responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws. You agree that you will not misuse the platform, attempt to bypass safeguards, or engage in activities that may harm Maltibase, its users, or third parties.
2. Prohibited Use
Strictly Prohibited: You must not use Maltibase for any illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activity.
- Fraud, scams, or deceptive business practices
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, or financial crime
- Transactions without genuine commercial purpose
- Use of stolen payment methods or identity theft
- Circumventing security, controls, or compliance systems
- Unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
- Chargeback abuse or manipulation of payment systems
3. Prohibited Businesses & Activities
You may not use Maltibase in connection with:
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Weapons, firearms, explosives, or military equipment
- Gambling, betting, or games of chance
- Adult content or sexually explicit services
- Human exploitation or harmful activities
- Counterfeit or illegal goods
- Unauthorized or unregulated financial services
4. Restricted Activities
Certain activities may require prior approval and enhanced due diligence, including:
- Charities and fundraising operations
- High-risk or regulated financial services
- High-volume or cross-border transactions
- Emerging or digital financial technologies
Maltibase may approve, restrict, or deny such activities at its sole discretion.
5. Wallet & Financial Use Restrictions
Critical Restriction: The Maltibase wallet must only be used for legitimate transactions within the platform. It must not be used as a bank account, storage of funds, or for external financial activities.
- No use for money laundering or fund layering
- No use as a pass-through or storage account
- No use for off-platform transfers or financial services
- All funds must relate to legitimate platform transactions
6. Sanctions & Regulatory Compliance
- You must not use Maltibase in violation of sanctions laws
- You must not transact with sanctioned individuals or entities
- Maltibase may screen users and transactions for compliance purposes
7. Platform Integrity
- No interference with platform systems or operations
- No distribution of malware or harmful code
- No abusive, harmful, or unlawful behavior
- No infringement of intellectual property rights
8. Monitoring & Enforcement
Maltibase may, at its sole discretion:
- Monitor activity and transactions
- Investigate suspected violations
- Request additional verification or information
- Suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts
- Freeze or withhold funds where necessary

10. Updates to This Policy
Maltibase may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
