This Privacy Policy applies solely to data accessed via Google APIs and Google OAuth services in connection with the Maltibase application (“Maltibase”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
It does not cover other data collected outside Google services.

1. Data Accessed (Google User Data)

Maltibase may access the following Google user data strictly through Google OAuth and Google APIs, subject to user consent:

  • Basic Google Account information (such as name, email address, and profile image)
  • Google Account unique identifier
  • OAuth authentication tokens
  • Limited Google API metadata required for login, security verification, and account linking

Maltibase does not access:

  • Google passwords
  • Gmail content
  • Google Drive files
  • Contacts, calendars, or sensitive personal content

2. Data Usage

Google user data accessed by Maltibase is used only for the following purposes:

  • User authentication and secure login (Google Sign-In)
  • Account creation and identity verification
  • Linking Google accounts to Maltibase user profiles
  • Preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
  • Maintaining platform security and integrity
  • Improving login experience and platform reliability

We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or resale.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

Maltibase does not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties.

Google user data may only be disclosed:

  • When legally required by law, regulation, or court order
  • To authorized infrastructure providers strictly necessary for secure storage and authentication (e.g., cloud hosting providers), under confidentiality and data protection agreements

Google user data is never shared for marketing or promotional purposes.

4. Data Storage & Protection

Maltibase applies industry-standard security measures to protect Google user data, including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS / TLS)
  • Secure server infrastructure
  • Restricted internal access (role-based permissions)
  • OAuth tokens stored securely and never exposed publicly
  • Regular monitoring for unauthorized access or security threats

Only authorized personnel may access Google user data, strictly for operational purposes.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Google user data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide Maltibase services.
  • Users may request deletion of their Google-linked data at any time.
  • Upon account deletion or valid data-deletion request, all associated Google user data is permanently erased within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is legally required.

6. User Control & Consent

  • Users explicitly grant permission before Maltibase accesses any Google user data.
  • Users may revoke Maltibase’s access at any time through their Google Account security settings.
  • Revoking access may limit or disable Google-based login functionality.

Maltibase fully complies with:

  • Google API Services User Data Policy
  • Google OAuth Verification Requirements
  • Google APIs Terms of Service

Google user data is accessed and used only in accordance with approved scopes and disclosed purposes.

8. Policy Scope Limitation

This policy applies only to Google user data obtained via Google APIs.
Other Maltibase data processing activities are governed by Maltibase general Privacy Policy.
