Maltibase is committed to creating a safe and reliable marketplace. Our Buyer Protection Policy is designed to protect buyers from fraud, misrepresentation, and non-delivery of products or services.
1. Scope of Protection
Buyer Protection applies to eligible purchases made on Maltibase where:
- The item was not received
- The item is significantly different from the description
- The service was not delivered as agreed
2. Conditions for Eligibility
- The transaction must be completed on Maltibase
- The buyer must comply with platform policies
- A dispute must be raised within the allowed timeframe
- The buyer must provide accurate information and evidence
Important: Payments made outside Maltibase are NOT covered under Buyer Protection.
3. What is Covered
- Non-delivery of goods
- Damaged or defective products
- Incorrect or misleading product descriptions
- Failure to deliver services
4. What is Not Covered
- Buyer remorse or change of mind
- Items that match the description
- Delayed delivery outside seller control
- Transactions completed outside Maltibase
- Digital goods (unless otherwise stated)
5. Dispute Process
- Buyer must first contact the seller
- If unresolved, escalate to Maltibase
- Maltibase reviews evidence from both parties
- A final decision will be made based on policy
6. Resolution Options
- Full refund
- Partial refund
- Replacement (where applicable)
7. Refund Method
- Refunds may be issued to the original payment method or Maltibase wallet
- Processing time depends on payment providers
8. Abuse Prevention
Strict Rule: Abuse of Buyer Protection is prohibited and may result in account suspension or termination.
- False claims or fraudulent disputes
- Repeated abuse of refund system
- Providing misleading evidence
9. Maltibase Role
Important: Maltibase acts as an intermediary platform. While we assist in dispute resolution, we do not guarantee outcomes in all cases.
10. Monitoring & Enforcement
- Maltibase may monitor transactions and disputes
- Accounts may be restricted for suspicious activity
- Decisions are made at Maltibase’s discretion
