1. Overview
These Terms govern your use of Maltibase. By using the Platform, you agree to them.

2. Marketplace role
Maltibase connects Users and Pros. Pros are independent third parties, not employees, agents, or partners of Maltibase. We are not a service provider and are not responsible for services performed by Pros.

3. Accounts
Provide accurate information. Keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Listings & Booking
Users search and request services; Pros publish profiles, pricing, and availability via Maltibase Pro. A booking is a contract between the User and the Pro.

5. Payments & Wallet
Payments are processed via Stripe, Paystack, or PayPal (“Processors”). Wallet balances, gift cards, and credits are product features subject to these Terms and our Payment Policy.

6. Fees
We may charge service, transaction, or processing fees shown at checkout or within the app.

7. Cancellations, refunds & disputes
See Refund & Dispute Resolution Policy. Outside-the-platform transactions are not covered.

8. Pro responsibilities
Pros must: (i) provide accurate listings and pricing; (ii) comply with laws, licensing, tax, and insurance obligations; (iii) deliver services with reasonable care and skill; (iv) not circumvent Maltibase payments.

9. User responsibilities
Users must: (i) provide accurate requests and payment details; (ii) be available for scheduled services; (iii) comply with applicable laws and safety guidance.

10. Prohibited activities
Fraud, misrepresentation, harassment, hate speech, illegal services, intellectual property infringement, scraping, interfering with the platform, payment circumvention.

11. Content & IP
You grant Maltibase a non-exclusive license to host and display content you post to operate the Platform. All Maltibase IP, logos, and software are owned by Maltibase.

12. Ratings & Reviews
Must be honest, relevant, and lawful. We may remove content violating policies.

13. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is.” We do not warrant the quality, safety, or legality of services by Pros.

14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maltibase is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of: (a) fees you paid to Maltibase in the 3 months before the claim; or (b) $100.

15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Maltibase against claims arising from your use, your content, your services (for Pros), or your breach of these Terms.

16. Governing law & venue
California law (without conflict rules). Exclusive venue: state and federal courts in San Francisco, California.
Arbitration (if applicable): We may offer arbitration; details will be provided in-app or on this page if enabled.

17. Modifications
We may update these Terms; continued use means acceptance. Material changes will be notified.
